Aura Care Living are looking for Carers for our Retirement Village in Stratton, Cirencester. The village consists of 31 luxury retirement apartments, 13 assisted living apartments and a 61-bed care home.

As a carer you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve to enjoy life in our beautiful care home.

Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that’s as varied as it is rewarding.
The post holder will be responsible for the Care of residents and to work in a team environment to ensure good practices exist.

They will deliver physical, psychological and social care to the frail elderly residents of the home, and meeting the needs and supporting the smooth running of the routines within the home. Full participation of the Keyworker system; and contributing to the records maintained, relating to residents and procedures. Other responsibilities will include assisting with medication distribution; acting as a team member, answering enquiries from visitors and professional bodies associated with the care of the residents, and ensuring that any enquiries or tasks beyond knowledge or capability are passed on to the Senior in charge of the shift.
