Marketing Assistant, Stratton Court

Aura Care Living is an award winning, luxury and fast growing brand which oversees 3 different locations: Stratton Court Retirement Village, Stratton Court Care Home and Kings Lodge Care Home. Aura Care Living is a fast paced and responsive company which has a thriving marketing department. Responsible for 3 individual businesses under the Aura Care Living brand, the chosen applicant would be responsible with communicating with a variety of people every day, including staff, management, press, media and customers. A strong background in administration would be beneficial with excellent organisational skills as well as attention to detail in all aspects of their work. Excellent spelling and grammar is essential with a strong command of the English language.  The successful candidate will be someone who can assist with web updates and marketing collateral design including reporting and print work and be willing to learn and develop their skills to grow within their role and the department.

Regular Tasks

Manage the design schedule with suppliers and in house

  • Administrating and tracking daily enquiry sources
  • Ensure social media posts go out daily from the AURA homes
  • Daily checks of adwords promotions
  • Ensure marketing material goes out on time
  • Daily checks of all websites throughout the group, update with events and promotions
  • Assist communications manager with press releases, social media posts & Mailchimp campaigns
  • Administrate direct mail campaigns
  • Adjust monthly designs using existing templates on InDesign

This is subject to expansion with the right candidate embracing learning new skills and expertise within their role.

Core skills (essential):

  • Proficiency with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Graphic Design/InDesign experience
  • Experience with programming languages such as CSS and HTML, or WordPress experience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling software
  • Strong English language skills with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Extremely organised with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Dedicated and reliable
  • Be capable of being a brand ambassador both online and in person
  • Strong understanding of branding and brand language

Advanced skills (desirable):

  • Market research practices and techniques
  • Experience analysing data
  • Budget and cost analysis experience

Salary expectations: 18k to 20k
