Sadly, we only got to see dad another couple of times before the home was locked down, this was so hard but totally and utterly understandable!
You spoke to him like a person and an adult. One of the videos we received filled us with so much joy, seeing dad eating soup and dunking his bread sat at the dining table, he looked so content and so happy.
We still miss him every day and are slowly coming to terms with him leaving us and the fact we had not seen him since March. Thank you for all that you did for dad.”
Sharon H (Daughter of Resident)
When my father passed away, the staff were amazing, despite their own personal pressures as a result of the Covid-19 virus. Everyone was understanding, supportive and thoughtful towards us as a family. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.”
Jackie (Daughter of Resident)
“The staff are very caring and professional, cleanliness was of a high standard. Due to the COVID-19 virus visiting my mum was restricted, however, the management arranged zoom meetings so the family were able to see and talk to mum.”
SUPPORTING YOU & YOUR LOVED ONES
Aura is able to offer assistance with Funded Nursing Care (FNC) and Continuing Health care (CHC) This can be applied for, if and when, our resident’s ‘health needs’ change and this will be facilitated by staff here at Aura.
We will contact the District Nurse Team who will visit our Care Home and undertake an assessment to identify if our resident meets their criteria, for this funding.
