In the morning I like to get dressed smartly and it is really important to me to try to look good and smell good! I sit with my friends in the dining room for breakfast and generally have a full English as there is no better way to start the day.

After breakfast, I try to participate in the activities organised. I really enjoy the singing and exercise activities and the entertainment brought in is always great.

I have lunch with my friends, and then in the afternoon I love to play games and quizzes while enjoying a bit of tea and cake.

Being at Stratton Court Care Home has been so much fun for me. I love the activities on offer and I have even been able to ride around in a beautiful Porsche car as part of the wishing tree. I love to watch Wolverhampton Wanderers play football and one day hope to meet the team having supported them all my life.

Vernon’s Family: “ Vernon has settled well into Stratton Court Care Home. He has thoroughly enjoyed joining in the activities on offer from the caring and friendly Activities Team. He always seems very happy amongst the staff, has made new friends and is enjoying a new chapter in his social life. He has been enabled to do activities which keep him occupied in a caring environment. Vernon always talks positively when we visit and chats about what he has been doing.”
