My mother came to Stratton Court Village in April 2022 and still resides there. As she has Huntington's disease, this is now her home. While this is not a very commonly recognised disease, the entirety of the staff has been unbelievably kind, understanding, caring and helpful. They have all made myself and my family feel welcome, and we feel part of the Stratton Court family. We can visit with ease and come away…

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Stratton Court for just over a year. My wife and our family feel very confident that she is being given exemplary care and attention in every way. It is so obvious during our regular visits that she feels completely safe, 'at home' and happy. Mum has built up a great rapport with all of the caring team and established some good friends there since she came in initially last…

My mum was very nervous going into a care home, but a family wedding abroad made it a necessity. She braced herself for a two-week stay with increased anxiety. I chose Stratton Court Home as it was the opposite of what she imagined a care home would be like; it was bright, modern and somewhat quirky (there’s a Rolls Royce in the entrance!). The staff were all very attentive and friendly during our initial visit and…

After caring for Mum for 9-years in our own house, it was hard handing her caring to someone else when I knew Mum inside out. Mum has lots of small problems, which all mount up, so it's been hard trying to get my message across for help, but Stratton Court has taken over in a safe and friendly way. I now sleep at nights although it was tough going for me, not having contact during this virus, but they organised…

Dad arrived at Stratton Court on March 10th, after a very long stay in the hospital, we never thought we would get him back to where he was born and bred. Sadly, we only got to see dad another couple of times before the home was locked down, this was so hard but totally and utterly understandable! I worried how we would cope, how dad would cope, but the videos that the manager sent us on a daily basis were just…

My 85-year-old mum stayed for two weeks at Stratton Court Care Home to test its suitability for respite care when she has hip replacement surgery in the coming months. She is fiercely independent and hates fuss, so I wondered how even a temporary stay would work out. I needn't have worried. Whilst the facilities and meals are notably good, what really stood out for us both was the wonderfully kind and thoughtful…

I stayed in Stratton Court in August/September 2023 after a fall at home and subsequent operation. From the moment I got there, I was surrounded by very loving/caring staff - nothing was too much trouble for them, providing much needed support/care and encouragement. Absolutely wonderful. The surroundings/rooms were spacious and homely - everything was of the highest standard. Food great and of a consistent very…

My father had to go into Stratton Court for a week of respite at very short notice. When he arrived, he was adamant that he was not going to stay, but through the careful intervention and help of the staff, he agreed to stay one night. By day two, he was extremely happy and settled, and after several days, was the happiest we have seen my father in a long time. We were astonished by the amount of time the staff gave…

We recently placed my grandmother at Stratton Court Care Home in Cirencester for a short one week stay, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the excellent facilities and the beautiful, thoughtfully designed interiors, which feel far more like a welcoming home than a care setting. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely…

My mother has been attending Stratton Court Care Home one day a week as a daycare user. The home has been very flexible in the daycare arrangement that we have (usually one day each week), and she very much enjoys her time there. There are a wide variety of activities provided throughout the week, and my mum has particularly enjoyed joining in these. The staff have been wonderful with her - caring and supportive,…

Couples Care Suites
A couple sitting together on a bench in the gardens

We understand that couples want to live together for as long as they can, even once their care needs start to differ.

There are many reasons why couples might consider one of our care suites in later life; one partner may develop a health condition requiring higher levels of care, or couples may simply have got to a stage in life where having people around them 24/7, helping them with any aspect of their day to day living, is a very attractive prospect.  It can be a worrying time when living at home is no longer an option – but we can help.

Our spacious care suites are available for both couples and individuals, giving peace of mind and a sense of independent living whilst still being part of a fully supportive care environment.

Set within our beautiful care home, our care suites all have one bedroom, a separate sitting room, with an attached kitchenette, and a large en-suite bathroom. All suites can be furnished or unfurnished and come with the full range of care services and benefits.
