Trisha’s Story

Patricia, or Trisha as she likes to be known, by moved to King’s Lodge sadly as she realised she could no longer cope at home independently. After several admissions to hospital, Trisha knew she would have to reside in a care home.

It was highly important to Trisha that she could continue to be close to nature and her surroundings were visual. Her own apartment was located in leafy Camberley in a well maintained grounds overlooking St Paul’s Church.

She decided to move to Kings Lodge, firstly because the reviews and conversations with local friends which all proved to be very good, and out of all the homes she researched it ticked all the boxes. This was going to be a big move for Trisha so it had to be the right one!

Trisha is located on Falcon, our nursing unit and has a wonderful room with a large balcony area. Trisha loves the fact she can wrap up warm and sit outside and have her breakfast, whilst watching and listening to wildlife. She loving having friends and family visit.

Trisha has many hobbies but particularly enjoys “Arts & Crafts” and Puzzles. Her regular trips to see the horses are a firm favourite too.

“As my circumstances had to change, I could not have chosen a nicer setting and home” “The staff are warm and welcoming, nothing is too much bother, and the food is very nice”.
