Joe’s Story

Joe is the most lovable charming gentlemen you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Joe moved to Kings Lodge in August 2022, after sadly losing his wife. From day one he settled and loves to join in everything.

Joe was born in India, to British parents who were serving in the Armed Forces. He them as a young boy moved to England and resided in Hounslow. When Joe left School, he like his parents signed up and joined the army. He was a LCpl of the 10th Royal Hussars.

Joe loves our daily walks in the grounds and especially trips to see the horses, which are a firm favourite. He has many friends, both living at Kings Lodge and who visit.

When asked what Joe’s most favourite thing about living at Kings Lodge was, he replied “The Food, especially the Puddings”.

Any opportunity Joe has to join in an activity, he is the first to arrive. He loves to be busy. He is the first in the queue at the Barbers.
